Server up but unresponsive | Project Zomboid | Page 1

I host a dedicated sever and leave it up and running in the background. For the most part it works without issue, but sometimes I need to hit enter in the CMD too allow people to connect if I've left it running for a while.

Any idea on how to fix this so I don't have to "wake" the server?

Are you active on the PC while the server is running?

Because mistakenly clicking into the console will pause the server, this is the default behavior on Windows

So if you clicked into it at any point, it would just pause and wait for your next input

Are you using 127.0.0.1 as the ip for joining?

Sometimes I am active, other times I'm not. I don't click into the console if I can avoid it. I try to leave it minimized unless i need to access it.

It happens to everyone, I use my local IP to join, my friends use my public IP
