I just downloaded the game and started up an apocalypse save and I've sunk a few hours into it but when I go up to the windows of my house a barricade option does not show up. I have 6 planks a hammer and nails, and no mods

The only think I can think of is the window detection might just be finicky where you're at. Cause I'm pretty sure there's no carpentry requirement for barricades. Try clicking different areas on the window cause you might have other props interfering with the detection.

If that doesn't work post a screenshot of the window you want to barricade

Also what kind of hammer are you using? Cause club hammers don't work for anything carpentry related

Is everything you need in your main inventory?

Cause a broken window shouldn't stop you from barricading iirc
