Why does PZ make my CPU fan sound so much? Other games like Minecraft are just alright

Project Zomboid is much more CPU intensive then most other games due to how much it needs to simulate, as most zombies and other general game simulations are done by the CPU

While games like Minecraft have much less general simulation and are mostly graphically intensive

Since Minecraft mainly needs to render thousands of blocks, which is mostly done by the graphics

Therefore in such games you are most likely to hit a graphics card bottleneck, while in PZ you are likely to bottleneck the CPU first
