Well I was hosting a map in multiplayer and suddenly my game crashed, I opened it normally and when I went to host again the following message appeared (was playing on current build) https://prnt.sc/JmY_nPvgWzbO https://prnt.sc/JmY_nPvgWzbO https://prnt.sc/JmY_nPvgWzbO
try this fix
how do i follow these steps?
i created a new single player with the exact same mods.
where do i go to find my C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Saves
Depending on your OS you can google : how to find User folder
I'm not able to comprehend the instructions given in that forum, could you show me step by step on resolving this issue?
You need to search this path manually, it's said where. C drive can be found in Your PC folder.
You can screenshot your folder if you can't go further
I managed to navigate over to the pz files
Next "Saves"
Find your world in one of these files, should be in Multiplayer folder
Now you can follow the rest of instructions , back it up
how would I back it up? Just copy the said folder and paste it elsewhere?
Correct
Then open the new game save folder that you created. From there copy the “map_ver.bin” file and paste it into the broken save folder.
Wrong folder
You need to find this file in a new single player folder you created just now
There is another solution in the same post
i deleted the tbin file
this caused me to be able to access the server
but zombies in safezones respawned and i'm guessing this goes for everywhere else
is there any other issues that comes from deleting the file
That was mentioned in the fix 🙂
