i've tried /grantadmin "username" and /setaccesslevel "username" admin and neither work. i am hosting a multiplayer server locally

I think what you want is /setaccesslevel username administrator

If you type /help in it says the names of the access levels available

Think you might be out of luck as that username is fairly complex, I do not think numbers and dots are handled well

Alternatively, if you have any mods enabled, those can cause issues with the admin menu

If all else fails you could open the database directly, like with a sqlite database manager tool, and edit your username or access level that way. Probably best to do it while the server is off btw.
