Character got reverted to the past. | Project Zomboid | Page 1

My underweight fitness 10, strength 10 character saved beside a horde of about 1k sprinters.
When I loaded the save again, I was forced to force close the game since it wasn't responding, this resulted in my character being reverted back their day 3 stats and weight (0 strength and fitness) but everything in the world that i've built is still there. Anyone knows what's up?

Yep a whole bunch, but I think main reason is because of a mem leak caused by saving and loading beside around 3k zombies corpses and 1k sprinters, or the save file being corrupted when i task manager end processed it.

But uh ignoring the cause, is there a way to retrieve the character data? Kinda weird that a past version of the chara got pulled out
Cause everything i built and etc is still there, its just that my character is no longer 'experienced' but the world is 'lived in'

I would only know of one way, depending on the corruption that happened. Check if you have a duplicate character when you click Load from the main menu > Select your Save > Select More > Choose Players

If not, then the data is likely lost
