i had some mods in the 'Mods' tab of my server and that worked fine but then i added a few mods in the 'Steam Workshop' tab and since then it gives me erros like "file doesnt exist on server" or "file doesnt match the one on the server" even for mods that i have removed from my server. now i removed all the mods from the server and i still get this error. did i ruin it by removing the mods or is it fixable?

(i just started a brand new server with just 3 mods and i still get the error for a mod that i didnt even add on the server)

Unsubscribe from all your mods, then just start the server again

Because either your mods are installed incorrectly, or your server mods are

so its gonna work fine if i subscribe to them again?

#

what happens to the mods that were already in the server? like the modded items

As long as you load the same mods to the server they will be fine

another question, do i need to have the mods both in the steam folder and the zomboid mods folder?

No, you should not move any mods manually

Steam takes care of it all
