Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Saves and delete every folder with the word "crash" in it

Another quick query, when I entered the game today the whole issue of the interface theme had been misconfigured and when I entered my usual game; would not hit zombies, hits would go through them and the contour would not activate to accept the hit with any weapon

Sounds like some sort of mod issue, any enabled? Tried disabling them as a test?
