It's been 12 months since the apocalypse begun and the majority of people who are still alive remain as nomads in the wastelands of a desolate yet crowded and dangerous city. There are roughly 500 people remaining in Louisville, and they never stay put.
Loot, cars, food, it's all becoming more and more hard to find. Guns and ammunition are incredibly hard to find, and scavengers have resorted to pulling bullets out of the guns of diseased owners, just to have that one extra shot. Not that it would make anything better in an emergency. Shooting your gun is a death sentence nowadays.
Roaming the city is dangerous. Even for the sneakiest of folks, there's a group of biters around every corner. Setting up walls is an invitation for disaster, for they'll see, they'll hear and they'll come. But for those who are willing to fight for the old world and its safety, sometimes it's a challenge that is worth risk.
META STATEMENT
Those Who Prevailed is intending to be a faction roleplay. Staff teams lead events and clashes between groups to create drama. Staff will work closely with communities who have gained enough resources to enable safe zones where zombies can't ever attack and permanent fences are established.
The intention of this server is to create a system of political tension, territory and conflict, but also to create societies. Systems of governments built in the post apocalypse. The server occurs in seasons. Each season will be three months long and there will be a winning faction. The best way to be the winning faction is to either assimilate smaller communities, or decimate them. Winning Factions are judged rarely basic factors such as food, water and energy, but on their recreation of a pre crisis world. Entertainment, food, sustainability, a community feeling. For this isn't a server about those who survived, but about Those Who Prevailed.
