This is not a port forwarding newbie issue, the server is discoverable and has been for months, with several users able to connect and stay connected. One user however, has their PZ client suddenly switching ports for steam token authentication, instead of using the specified ports by the server, causing them to be disconnected due to disallowed traffic on closed ports. Not sure how to fix this one.
