Soft reset mini map loss | Project Zomboid | Page 1

I soft reset my world and now that I've loaded in I have no mini map. I can click the secondary map icon at the top left and the menu closes like it activated something, but the mini map doesn't come back up. I played with the settings at the bottom of the mini map as well a little before the reset, but I wouldn't think that doing so would be an issue. Any ideas?

I've gone back through the server settings turning off and on the main map and mini map and relaunching both to no avail. Frustrating considering I don't really have an idea of what it even could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Lua on your PC.
Open the layout.ini file
Edit the Minimap line and set visible=false to visible=true
Save and try loading the game again?
If that fails, try deleting the file instead.
