As the last still standing organisation with connections to the pre Knox Event government, the G.D.R.A are tasked with preventing the infection of the remaining population of the US by any means necessary. In Knox County the G.D.R.A have set an a quarantine zone in the town of Lake Ivy. Any non infected survivors with peaceful intent are welcome in the QZ.
