I have been experiencing an issue with loading into the main menu, or reloading LUA when enabling or disabling a mod. It can take minutes to load into the main menu or reloading LUA. I haven't experienced this issue before, and it usually took under a minute to complete this. This issue persists on vanilla, but is worse when there are mods enabled. When loading into a game, the FPS stays normal, and I even experienced nearly 100 FPS on a map like Raven Creek where there may be a ton of zombies.

Loading speed is dependent on the CPU and hard drive speed and the amount of files that have to load if modded.

Meaning I am not sure if I can help you with this, do you have anything to compare the current speed to how it was "before" ?

like with a different game?

the game is installed on my ssd, and other games (like RDR2) load just fine in under a minute
Even with something like 200 mods, the game ran fine

Meaning something on your PC change between Then and Now

I did mention before in my post about the black screen that I changed base system drivers to try and resolve the computer crashing

I am not sure I can help then, due to the aforementioned factors

Can only recommend checking if your antivirus is just constantly checking the files

Or look at the task manager for the CPU usage of every app when you run the game

#

And check the HDD utilization
