Does anyone knowing it's possible to change the amount of time the mouse pointer is visible/active for? It hangs around for about 3/4 seconds, and was hoping to reduce it to about 0.5seconds

Not sure what you mean exactly, but there is no such setting for the pointer

I wondered if there was something in the files that could be edited
I'm using a steam deck with multiple action sets, and would find it useful to lower the cursor visibility time, which would then auto switch an action set from one to another on its disappearance
