These are not even new video cards. HD 7870 my friend - the game is terrible. I have an rx580 8gb - the game runs terribly. Another friend 6700XT 12gb (modern) - the game is running badly.

All three of us play on the lowest settings.

6700XT without opengl support at all.

You are misappropriating your performance to something that has nothing to do with it

Opengl versions do not mean that the game runs badly on new hardware, because newer versions support older versions. So you are misunderstanding the hardware support
