I just created a dedicated server and I am able to get when I use the normal "Host" option. I see my username "ThinLines" but when i leave and start up the dedicated server I cannot access it with that username because there wasnt a password that was set. Ive never been prompted to set a password, so where can I set that password? Ive read in the console but I am not entirely sure what that means.

There would be no password set, it should just let you in with the password that you connect with the first time
What kind of error do you get
When i click join on my dedicated server it will say username/password are incorrect. the odd thing is, I was never prompted to create a pass when connecting to Host.
also when in "host" mode, I will do /setaccesslevel and add myself but when i do, it just says "accesslevel set to 32" but the red admin doesnt show next to my name
okay i mightve figured something out. I was able to adduser "admin" "genericpasswordhere" and it was able to get in, BUT the accesslevel is not set as admin
Use the server console to setaccesslevel username admin
The command is case sensitive
it doesnt allow me to do that when i am logged in as admin, so will I need to log back in as ThinLines, set the accesslevel and then try relogging?
sorry, as a noob im a little embarrassed but I am not sure what console refers to. the chat box? or like the console (batch file) that I launched before joining the dedicated server?
