i found the issue
it was the infinite carry weight for what ever causes game to lag the fuck out
beacause it somthing to do with garbage collection
so when u right click game is loading all the things from backpack into the menu ect
which causes lag
ill see if theres a fix

I would say that when using mods that radically increase container capacities, such as infinite carry weight, or Hydrocraft with some of it's large container weights, it wouldn't be surprising that they could cause issues for PZ, as the PZ engine is designed for a maximum container capacity of 50 for most everything aside from furniture tiles, which tops out at 100, and vanilla vehicle part capacities which also top out at 100.

any chance that that will get fixed at some point? it's radically popular to have larger containers, lots of mods add various things that hold more, with the largest i ever see being around 1400-1600 for huge semi trailers or cargo containers.
it seems to work OK but i do imagine there's a cost to pay in performance

The save system was revised to accommodate more memory for chunks on account of this, but there's a limit to the accommodations we can make for mod stuff that is wildly out of balance with the intent of the engine.
what kind of upper limit is there anyway, then? so i know what to avoid if i don't want issues to arise on a dedicated server

do you stop being invisible if you get in and out of another vehicle?
i dont think so
players becoming randomly invisible is a common occurrence in my experience
but usually that fixes it, or a relog

getting in/out of bus dont fix but imma try a vanilla car
yeah vanilla cars (and most cars) don't show the player model while ur inside
so when u get out i would guess that it forces it to load
curious why it happens with RV interior mod but idk
maybe player model gets banished to alternate dimension desync style
the way that works if im not mistaken is to tp you to a magical far away place

RV interiors has limited number of interiors due to the way the map works doesn't it? that must be kinda insane in mp esp with vehicle respawning

im running it in wine actually because some mods use path separators that seem to fuck up the loading of some models/textures
i prefer the native client for obvious reasons but that's a pain in the butt

why is my game terminated when i try to launch server?
I looked online and some people said its from hydrocraft mod, but i never had it installed
it was the stupidest thing ever. i unknowingly added a map that conflicted with another. all is fixed

(Not the best place to ask, but since it might be a mod related issue...) Anybody know where occupation and skill presets are stored on drive? I need to delete them. I crash every time I attempt to load a preset and tbh, this has been happening for months. I uninstalled all mods and the game itself, verified game files, etc, nada. So, I'm hoping if I delete them all and make one more attempt, it should work. (Note: I know presets can work on the server I'm playing on since other players can make and use them.)

enable the mod and they should appear under scenarios in solo. i think it also adds some preset settings aswell

You could probably use the Change Sandbox Options mod to add multi hit after the scenario starts. I don't think you can normally change challenge scenario settings so that would be easier than editing the code

Im trying to set up RV interior for the multiplayer server i have with my friends. we are starting from a new save and in the instructions it says
"the map file "vehicle_interior" needs to be put in top priority for MP"

out of curiosity, how complicated is adding new traits? i kinda want to put together a very basic mod that contains traits that give you skill points in skills that don't normally have related traits, but i have no idea how complex the process of adding traits is

if so you should be a maps tab and you can add/move the RV_interior to the top of map priority

if its the same as coop when you select "serversettingsname" theres all the tabs for settings i would remove all RV mod items first then add RV interior in the workshop tab then remove RVinterior(notMP) from the mods tab
then add/prioritzie the map

so remove all RV interior mod mods in workshop and mods
jsut the intier mods you can keep tuning and trailers
then when you add it into workshop it auto adds to mods
and remove the non mp version in the mods list

i probably wouldn't recommend it for a dedicated server but
my friend cant seem to get it to work lmao
you need to load it as a map if i recall which means you also need to place it properly in the map order
so it needs to be loaded after 'muldraugh, ky' which is the whole base map
but also: when trying to install 10 years later, consider its performance impact heavily. if you are running a dedicated server or running a server off of a poor computer, it will probably be more trouble than its worth
10 years later has a pretty extreme performance impact

Got questions about a couple mods, one, filibuster rhymes used cars keys for me are named very odd, not just name of the car but like GUI_ and then the car name. Other question is auto star trailers compatible with filibuster rhymes used cars? Thank you

Filibuster's should work fine with most other car mods.
I'm not sure if the key name thing came about with the item category update or is something to do with the Better Sorting mod

So I actually submitted an issue report to the wolf about the patch existing, he said the "bug" the patch version fixed was actually fixed in 2019. Why better lock picking still has it as a dependency is a mystery to me tbh.
I might try to use better lockpick with just the new framework and see what happens.
