What I believe might've happened is that it was a first time load and it didn't load everything in properly. The Defecation mod had a similar problem, and needed the .ini file from Solo to run on MP. I think I got it working now.

If you're trying to import something and using blender, you can import .x directly. No need to convert it first.

It's a test beta of a game where the average character has a lifespan of hours, and it was some objects in the game world, nothing that the removal of would break the saved game, it's just an inconvenience. Basically some imaginary gi joe action figure accessories were removed.
Regardless, it's interesting that the same rigorous devotion to ethics that some people expressed when they took issue with the content of my mods appears to go right out the window with some people when I choose to withdraw the content I created from the community.
I'm not meaning to keep this whole thing going really but the thing is that there were a couple people complaining a lot about it, I generally don't like to see any kinds of politics in my games if they don't have anything to do with it, but it was just the start screens so it didn't bother me a lot, it hits many more people that never even brought it up, I was just quite enjoying your mod is all, and I know a lot of others were, and most people can look past it and still enjoy it for what it is, only a few were really vocal about it.
I don't mean to clog up the mod chat with it :/
Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, and other people that enjoyed my work, but the opposition to some aspects of my content crossed the line into harassment and griefing, and, as such, I decided that I did not want my work to be part of a community where a minority of the membership was engaging in such behaviour.
I wish it was otherwise, but for my own peace of mind, I've withdrawn my content from the community and I would hope if people enjoyed my work that they could reciprocate that by respecting my desire to remove said content.
EDIT: Just to make it clear, I have no issue with The Indie Stone and their handling of this, and they have been very understanding, patient and lovely about this entire fiasco. In retrospect I wish I had taken measures to insulate them from the backlash to my decisions, but hindsight is 20/20, and I overestimated people's critical facilities to a significant degree. Given what a nightmare the workshop comments could be at times before this all happened, I really should have known better.
I have zero stake in this conversation in either direction as I don't play with mods, but would you be willing to supply people who may have lost long-running saves the appropriate files to continue enjoying your work?
I realize in retrospect that could be a few thousand people bothering you via DM for mods.
I also have no desire to further discuss this issue; I just want to make it clear that I strongly desire that people neither upload or share my work.

i do respect your wish to not have any of your mods be reuploaded, i support that choice fully, but do remember that sharing the mod's folders as long as they aren't reuploaded isn't against any ToS, and some people where using GEAR as a base for they're mods, which means they need they're own copies so they can rework the code around and make sure they don't need GEAR.

There was only one mod that was dependent on G.E.A.R., and it still wouldn't work even with G.E.A.R.; it;s problems run deeper than needing the G.E.A.R. code.
Again, I ask that people don't share or upload my mods, regardless of whatever justifications they come up with.
To the best of my knowledge, that mod will never function properly unless either there is a change in the Java, or someone is able to fix the issues, by rewriting a bunch of lua, that I was unable to when I previously attempted something in a similar vein.
Also @fallow bridge , I would ask that you never reply to me ever again. I want nothing to do with you ever. Your behavior was the final straw in me being an active part of the community, I find your response to my decision to remove my mods deeply disturbing and I ask you to block me and ignore my existence.

Yet this stems back to the root of all of this. Its unfortunate how things played out, and how you've had to stand by your dedication to free speech, it is truly a monument of your dedication to justice and who you are as an individual. A what
a neat trick djvirus to driving fast is to take your "T" hotkey which is for talking (only useful in MP) and set it to pan.
That way you can pan fairly far ahead of your vehicle while driving at highspeed.

@hollow shadow You can usesetWeaponSpriteto change a weapon's model, but a lot of those changes to an item's property are not persistent between saving/reloading. I find that the better method, for these sorts of things, is to think outside the box and actually change the item type itself.

Yeah, this is where shit gets funky; you need custom code somewhere that checks the item condition and then either uses setWeaponSprite or the othe rmethod I mentioned to update the item with the new model.
Now, setWeaponSprite might be persistent between saves; it would be a lot easier to to use that method if playtesting shows that it is in indeed persistent.
I dont know how to code at all, i already had given up on making a gunsmithing skill...
Yeah, unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it 😉 ) once you want to do more creative stuff you need to learn some basic lua.

I made custom crafting sounds for all my weapons, but i recently discovered that i can also change hit sounds, so ill probs get creative with that too

@hollow shadow Now, I have a better way of doing bayonets, but it's part of a bigger project, and needs thorough playtesting etc. But that should work for you in the meantime?

I believe that generally the folder doesn't matter in most cases, but I would put it wherever makes sense for you, and then test it to see if it works?
But either should work I believe; I usually use the shared folder when I'm uncertain.

@hollow shadow you need to remove FireMode = Single, from the scripts for the Salvaged Rifle and any other guns; it's unnecessary, and also is bugged; it will allow you to continue firing w/o any ammo in the gun.

alright i wanna try my hand at modding again, this time i wanna try to move the right belt slot's location to what i feel like would be a more suitable location i wanna try and make it work with Better belt's but i don't know exactly if i can
almost everything that's put into the belt right slot clips with everything in the holster slot

Our thigh holsters will replace vanilla ones, so you wont (hopefully) have any more clipping

Now, I dunno if this WILL works; it's a pain in the butt to test as attached weapons spawn really rarely, and since the air tank isn't an actual weapon, there may be a check java side that disqualifies it, but it might work.
i should have explained more, i want to do this. the issue with the clipping on the holster isn't my main issue. it's the clipping in general, i want to make it so that the objects do what Blair's old mods did which was this
the way it looks normally on the character is really... off so i want to try and adjust it myself, that way i don't ask you guys to do anything with it

You might be able to spot that I used the gascan as a placeholder for the airtank so see the model on the firefighters.

Yeah, I used the GasCan for the static model, and yep, if you added an AirTank model and had is set up properly, it should show up on the firefighter's backs.
I used the horde manager in debug mode to spawn 50 firefighter zombies to test if it was working.

Cool! Yeah, I dunno how the crossbow mod uses strings? Just be warned, it's a great mod, but Lactose seems to make things waaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy more complicated then they need to be with that mod, so it might be a bit of work using their mod as a guide.

Yeah, remember that bayonet lua I made for you? You need something like this result:setCondition(item:getCondition()) in custom lua associated with the tank change recipe, if it uses a recipe.
