Possible teams/units worth investing into for EZA clearing etc

Hey, somewhat new, trying to work my way through EZAs for units that seem good according to the tier list on the wiki (like yellow Janemba, purple Goku Black and green Broly) but it's been kind of a struggle. I managed to do Goku Black but not Janemba, so I figure I'm going about it the wrong way/too early so I have two questions:

1. Could I make a good team for general content for now? I was thinking earth-bred fighters with Tao as leader, maybe with the Yamcha from current banner? I was gonna just mix in the units from the f2p goku beginner team, but they are insanely squishy so I'm not sure it's a good idea and it probably doesn't make for a very good team to just shove every earth-bred fighter I have into the team. I was also thinking a villain team might work? I do have Janemba, Goku Black, Broly, etc etc.

2. Do I have any units that could be used for Janemba EZA or maybe other EZAs? I know it depends heavily per EZA but I noticed my team was fully boosted on both EZA battles so I assume there's some overlap?

dont use tier lists from the wiki or them in general, they're very subjective and the ones on the fandom wiki are sooooo outdated

and teamwise, you might be better off running the f2p z fighters team

I mean you could try making a tao team and have the z fighters in them since they're on the lead

the f2p z fighters team was good damage wise but they seem to die really hard other than goku, however the hardest content i tried them in was an EZA battle where it seems like you want specific units right

yeah you dont want to use z fighters team in there unless they are on the effective category

z fighters can clear just about any content in the challenge tab that was released up to 2023

certain easy content like idbh they do just fine in too

i see, so probably just replace lead with tao and put goku over someone in the team, then replace the f2p yamcha with the new one

which one would you replace with goku? i was thinking chiaotzu because he makes orbs but tao also does

I mean, janembas eza gonna be really hard since you aren't gonna do a lot of dmg with turs and you're gonna die since they're arent on the effective category

when my units have the arrows up on them does that mean they're in the effective category? because all my units did

lr ezas have 2 effective things, effective defenders which is the category and effective attackers which are lr units since they have the legendary power link which lets them deal more dmg when linked with another lr

ok, i'll have to do some more reading on that. getting back to the original topic (sorta), would you say i'm better off with the f2p team because of a lack of good units, lack of EZAs or lack of enough units to make a cohesive team?

you could run a tao team with all the z fighter units except int krillin

save for july as we are having a major celebration early in the month
