To add, the thing I keep seeing is how otherkin therians identify involuntarily as animals, so when I think about myself I'm not sure because maybe I've been voluntarily identifying as human just to fit in. And I don't want to immediately give myself the otherkin label because what if it's not true? I'm ok with having to identify with being a human, like I can manage, and I don't wanna devalue those who aren't ok with that either

I would love to help but honestly figuring out if you’re a Therian or not is different for everyone! The first step is literally just do you identify as an animal on any level, if yes then that label describes you but it’s up to you where or not you feel that label fits or you want to decover more about yourself!
