Explosions of Particles (in all directions) with skbee? (Specifically Dust Particle)

I am aware that it is possible to achieve particles flying in a certain direction, but is it possible to allow particles to fly off in every direction? I couldn't seem to find away to do this. In simpler terms, is there a way to apply velocity to dust particles?
