Frankly the game feels too busy.

The 2.5D does it no favors and makes it less readable.
When you join a game, if someone isn't readied up instead of booting them you just sit there waiting. If you leave, you probably end up back in the same lobby when you search again.
The grapple animation irks me because it comes out as mess rather than just being mostly if not all the way straight adding to the already busy nature of the game.
For whatever reason the movement actually feels slower.

This is one time where remaining as simple as possible might have paid off impo.

I don't want to cook a small studio when they've obviously put a lot of time into the game but I much preferred the readability of the original.
The speed buffs and netcode can be tweaked I know. The art style is probably here to stay and I just wish it was a little less in your face.

Also, the voice lines get old fast. I could probably go without them for the most part.

just hopped into a multiplayer match and i have no clue whats happening, especially at high speeds lol
its very hard to see things, and due to the 3D models, colors clash and mix a LOT

poor visual clarity overall

i do like the voicelines tho
adds personality :D
