I love the idea of it, exploring dungeons, and meeting new people along the way. So, I’m searching an MMO that's still going strong, with tons of cool features, classes, events, guilds, raids. Something that’s would'nt be so hard for a new player ^^ I would also like to make friends so I’m not stuck playing solo all the time

I recommend FFXI "private servers, particularly Horizon as it is the largest and closest to the golden era of the game as well as it is free to play so nothing lost if you don't like it"
Also you said you want a mmo that is still going strong, ffxi started on PS2 with a subscription model and is still running to this day on that same subscription model but has since migrated to PC only.
I have been told however by many people that FFXI is to complicated for a new person to get into, but it was my first MMORPG at age thirteen and I grasped it just fine so not sure what they are on about.
You wont ever have to worry about being solo in the game unless you are adamantly trying to be, people are always talking in the in game chat and actually respond to random people unlike most MMO's today, you will be hard pressed to find toxic people most are super laid back old farts like myself just looking to scratch that nostalgic itch.
