Hey there.
I come from an old mmo tibia. Back in my days it was neat.

What I’m looking for you may ask? I am looking for something like tibia but modern. I’m tired of pixels.

What I want:

  1. Killing lots of monsters (some sort of bdo style or might be with not that complex combat)
  2. Having a chance to drop some unique item to wear that will make me stronger (I feel like most of the games recently have garbage itemisation to the point where it becomes casino (bdo mentioned or lost ark)
  3. Feeing sense I’m playing a multiplayer game
  4. Not a quest simulator (looking at you fedex ff14)

What you want is an ARPG

#

Go play Diablo, Titan Quest, Grim Dawn, whatever

How about 3D pixels? If you own minecraft, check out the wynncraft server. its so so so underrated.

killing lots of monsters, 0.10% to 0.01% drop rates... i can think of ragnarok online

Well, it's not pixel/voxel

#

Modern games don't have the sweet loot that you'll use forever

Yeah I played lots of poe since 2013 and I feel like I’m looking for this but in mmo world and it’s non existent (yet)

I tried a lot mmo quite recently but the longest I played in gw2 (until the point where I found out that I can buy bis gold for 5 gold) and back then in lost ark (where I found that grind is limited per day - instant turn off and casino enchantment system) since then idk what’s out there but I miss it haha

Its just that long term, random loot being meaningful is just not possible to keep interesting

#

And feasible to keep pushing more content
