Updates:

I didn't understand how the cloak worked (completely). I'm not sure how to improve it since it's not very intuitive. Apparently, my clock was technically level 23 for the past 11 levels... which gave me the feeling I had 11 dead points. That felt TERRIBLE. So that's the feedback on this post. It's not a bug, but it's unintuitive (technically a skill issue in my part I guess) but it felt really, really bad.

Also, thinking about it. The first point of Ghost coat needs you to farm the FINAL BOSS to level it up, and it's effect would only help if you hadn't farmed most of the other bosses materials yet, which.... doesn't make a lot of sense.

~~I was leveling my clock for infinite poison. I had Legendary clock and Epic cloak.
I was watching Grandoioroth kills so I could keep leveling the last few items.

My clock was around level 14-15 (I think) 18-19 with the cloak when I noticed the weirdness.
The CDR was 2.7, and it had gone up 0.1 every level so far. But when I put another point, it stayed 2.7. I put another point, and it was still 2.7. I went like 3-5 points without the CDR going up at all.

I checked in general, and folks tell me that Legendary cloak gets me the last 0.3 I need to hit the 3 sec CDR .

It feels bad to have "dead" points that don't actually improve the item.

I'm not sure what kind of bug this is, and why others aren't seeing/reporting it. My guess is folks are afking this and not noticing the increases when they come back and just spam the level up button without checking what each level does.

Perhaps it's an incremental thing where the program math doesn't hit the breakpoint until level 26? I don't know, but that would be my guess or maybe my game/save was bugged and I hit 2.7 a few levels before I was supposed to?

all I know is, I'd have to do a new save to test this and I've almost 100% the game, so I'm not doing that.

Also, multiple save slots when? 🙂~~

Edit: spelling fixes.

the first ability of the ghost coat can boost levels up to 20. it was boosting your clock to 20. with the first ability, with that configuration, your clock would have been 20, no matter how many points you put in it (assuming the cloak was higher than like level 5).

the second ability of the clock gives it the +3, but this +3 can bypass the level 20 limit, which is how you had 2.7s, since it's 2.7s at level 23.

it's not a breakpoint issue, it's that you're already at the level cap with that configuration, getting +3 with the cloaks second ability. with the cloaks 4th ability you can instead go to 26, which is another 3 levels of 0.1, giving you 3s total

with a level 20 cloak, the level of the first slot of every other advisor doesn't matter at all, since it boosts them all to the level cap, yeah

I think the first point in Ghost Coat should be reworked to something that doesn't make you feel like your points do nothing. That's just my 2 cents. It took some guy like 10 minutes of explaining it in like a bunch of different ways for me to get it through my thick skull... I wouldn't call that intuitive, that or I'm an absolute idiot. I guess that's technically an option 🙂
