hi! its my first time using this kind of service, im aware of the 20$ free credit usage, im able to get them, but i want to know how is this credit going to be used, is there like a chart to know how many requests equals how much credits? or is it by complexity? im searching in the page and im not finding anything, maybe im blind lol

It varies by the cost of the model used, by the complexity of the problems you are solving, and by the amount of context the model needs to solve the problem.

As an example - I spent most (5 hours outside of meetings and such) of my day coding something with a faily high degree of complexity in terms of object handling, and passing messages between a front end and a backend. I mostly used frontier-level (advanced) models - Sonnet 4 and Gemini 2.5 Pro, and a smattering of lower cost models like Gemini 2.5 Flash

In that time, I used:

  • 17,514,864 input tokens
  • 55,294 output tokens
  • 135 total requests
  • $16.12 total cost
  • 2134 total lines of code

In the extension you also get a listing of the cost per model, but it takes a bit of getting used to to get to know what that means in practice; it helps to see the difference in pricing between models though
