Other games like DCS (or “sim” i guess in DCS’s case) and war thunder have some pretty good AI missions and stuff. It would be cool to have an option to make a mission and be able to put AI ground and air units (as well as your own builds) and fight them. It could also be a multiplayer option so you and a friend could could be on a SEAD mission having to take out some SAM and SPAA systems you built and spawned in the mission. Would also be cool to see like AI skill difficulties that can be put in as well

Another issue I have noticed, is that the AI could be point blank, have a perfect shot to send your aircraft into atoms, and yet it doesn’t fire, or the ai only fires after your aircraft has passed, making the rounds pass right behind your aircraft. I get the SP1 AI is 10 years old but like… bruh. It would be a huge plus if the AI were actually dangerous and not just a way to test how baby proof an aircraft is or something to dunk on

Better AI with better telemetry and actual ability to dogfight and fly would also be very welcome. As of now, if you want the AI to do well with a plane, you have to modify the plane so the AI doesn’t make the plane spin out or miss all it’s shots because of it’s constant pitching and over correction of pitching up and down. Instead, the AI should “change” based on the aircraft. Also would be nice to see the AI have the ability to cut throttle and other stuff

Yeah it’s annoying how the AI always has max throttle and can’t aim

I also think there should be AA that shoots faster for different missions, like for a WW2 mission, slow shooting flak, and for more modern missions a fast shooting anti air system like the Goalkeeper CIWS
