Multiple issues

Hello! It was already two times we tried to stream playing abnormality but strange things happened 🙁
We are a team of 3 players and we have near zero issues in most of the games, but we found a couple of things.

1 - One of our players, when starts speaking, she has lot's of "static radio" under her voice, she normally plays open mic, but in abnormality if she does that we get insane with the static noise ( in VOD of stream of 21.02.2026 )
2 - That same player, in one map, got dragged by the ghost to the back of the back, an area outside of the map, she tried to come to the front but ... to no avail ( in VOD of stream of 21.02.2026 ) we had to terminate because she could not come to the tent for us to leave the game normally....
3 - In the exact next map, another one, she is again dragged outside the out, to an "outside the map area" .... very frustrating, but this time there was a ramp that allowded her to come back to the tent, but she claims the ghost was with her in the tent.... crazy... ( in VOD of stream of 21.02.2026 )
4 - In the carnival map, we are all 3 together, all the other players are saying the ghost is right in front of us, and I cant see anything, I asked to be guided to it, and according to them, I passed through the ghost ... it was a Jambee so it was not a ghost trait...I think (also in the VOD of stream 21.02.2026 )
5 - One of our players had their game crash like at least 5 times ( last week, we have sent some video clips, this did not happen in the 21.02.2026 stream ) 6 - the same player who had mic issues, if tried to use the N key for text to speech, it did nothing, nothing apperared....

Couple of questions and ill try my best to reply to the issues you been having.

Who was hosting the game?

The person with the static mic, where they streaming also? (If so, was there any over encoding issues withing their OBS)

Is anyone in the game using any AMD related hardware, such as GPU or CPU?

1 - My response to this would depend on the information supplied above

2 - At the moment it is a known issue where sometimes the Ghost can drag you outside the maps (can you tell me which map this was), there is planks at the front of every map near the tent to allow people to get back in, the have to walk up and over the planks.

The problems stems from old code for the ghosts and no matter how much the Dev tries to fix it, it simply won't work. There is a complete ghost overhaul coming within the next several weeks (its a long process) that will completely fix this issue and several others.

3 - same as my last information about the ghost lol

4 - We did notice this during testing, it was believed to be fixed, it seems it wasn't, thank you for bringing it to our attention, we will get on to fixing this asap

5- I refer you to my questions at the start about AMD hardware. Also if they are using text to speech, this is for communicating with the ghost rather than players (if that's what you meant), if nothing appeared, this would likely indicate that the function needs to be turned on in the settings.

No worries, lets try to help you figure this out.

1- I was hosting the game, I own a nvidia 5070 TI, 128 GB ram and 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-12900KF (3.20 GHz). The person with static mic was not the person streaming. Ella had the static mic, I was the streamer.

2 / 3 - Good 🙂 so a fix will happen 🙂

4 - Nice, sadly I cant proof it, because my vods there is no ghost, and they see the ghost, but if you want, it is here the moment https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2703916262 around 4:15:00

5 - When the player with mic issues has an AMD processor yes, she manages to speak ok with us ( with the static noise in the bottom ) but as the Spirit box was not picking up her voice, she tried N and nothing appeared. And she saw it active in the settings and had the keybind mapped. TimeTell was in the stream as Gamehauntings and they even hinted , "well try to map another key" and it failed.... I asked her to come here also and try to help u debug this

Ok so the person with the main issues has an AMD processor correct?

So its likely its connected to the AMD processor, we know atm there is an issue with AMD hardware not liking the voice features that's being used, and an active fix is being worked on... We don't know why this is a thing, but unfortunately it is, we hope to have it fixed asap.

As for the ghost showing to some but not others, we where working on it late last night, we actually thought it was fixed As soon as Patrick (the Dev) is back online today, ill be sure to inform him instantly that it needs looking at again.
