Would it be possible to implement a pipe block which multiple pipes could be added to to create a mixture? It would greatly condense the space needed to create them, instead of needing many whole ranks of pipes for large mixtures. First place a pipe, and then click on the base to add multiple pipes similar how a candle works, and then stacking pipes on top to change the pitch?

The intervals between the pipes within a block could be either pre-set or maybe configurable?

I think a mixture could also be funny like this:

oh yeah, like a chord preset?

Exactly! Like a mixture! And you could wrench or craft it between I, II, III, IV etc

I've been considering something like this, but the problem comes with fitting a bunch of whistles into a 1-block gap

I've been doing minecraft-style 3D models for a while now, and it would break my heart to have to use mixels like that

#

the most I've been able to think of is fitting 2 pipes into one block, with a maximum single-pipe diameter of 8 pixels

There’s always the possibility that player could just end up making their own mixtures utilizing pipes already added and just connecting them with redstone, allowing you (finchy) to continue just adding new stops?
