We should add in other beings that can actually talk to us... Let me explain:
Creatures of the unknown, some of them even being human like us that have also fallen in this deep slumber, elements of unknown nature, or those beyond our perception, said characters may speak fluent English, others may speak in broken grammar, or those that speak. &$(#-jdieijabxjxdh@]//hdusjandhdodkhsuutyahsgfidoa-_+#)544%%*%% - 6+jdhdiOsnnajd...
Alas, this is the kind of Charm I want to see in this game, to make it feel a bit more alive, but it shouldn't change the core concept of being lucid and having to feel alone, to find the said characters/NPCs is a rare in occurrence, to be able to encounter one is a once in a who-knows-how-long time...
Here are a few ideas for NPCs that I hope could work to fit into lucid blocks.
Old crow: Being a crow with a gray beard, this guy is usually seen flying in the sky with bright areas , he's as wise as fine wine, he speaks all languages (mainly the one you prefer) and acts sort of like your guide to this world, giving you tips and hints to things you should do, he only knows so much because he doesn't travel like the player does.
Weebigs: I don't have a concept for these buggers but to give you an idea of who they are; living in a custom small structure known as "tribal residence", they act like tribal folk, (being neutral) they are friendly until you hit one of them, which in-turn makes all of them suddenly hate you, not only making them attack you with long pointed sticks and throwing pebbles at you, but they won't want to trade with you; the core life-style they play as they use materials as currency, specifically metals you mine up from the ground. when dropping the material, one of them will come and pick it up, and they'll try to give you something of the same value if not greater. They don't speak the best English but it's easy to understand what they're asking(otherwise they're mute).
Remnants: these are not friendly whatsoever, if you find yourself in the dark with one of them, run for your life as they are the wardens of lucid blocks, almost if not as bad as nightmares. they become passive in the daytime, you'll be able to speak to them but they speak complete gibberish like a broken record. As if they're almost a lost cause and what was once seen as important, the feeling that their existence is missing something.
Forgotten soul: these wandering phenomena are found in the city/building-like ecosystem of lucid blocks, having no purpose, trying to find the way out of this world, the only thing left of intelligence is being able to speak fluently in English, they try to warn you of the world your in and what they learned from past experiences, they give you the option to help them out and finding things that they want, anything of random from flesh blocks, to gold, doing so will relieve them of their sorrows, giving you tons of exp(I forgot what you call it) and disappearing after that.
