restrictions lead to gatekeeping which leads to backlash
that would likely lead to people making a public discord elsewhere with 10x the amount of people
also handpicking becomes impossible if this game becomes popular
i'm a very "freedom to the people" typa guy so i'm against this
people will act how they act and can't be controlled
how you react however can
