From some gameplay i watch a symptom was aggression which really only led to the person turning into a zombie and trying to attack you. But what if the agression started out by the surviors becoming agitated when you perform actions like scanning them or checking their breathing. Then you can send them to quarantine where they can attack others in quarantine.

Interesting idea, but won't it be dissatisfactory, as player can't prevent massacre?
Quarantine is sort of "safe temporary space" where you can send those in who you doubt. Aggression of this kind is similar to throwing a grenade in there, and I'm pretty sure that will give only frustration when happens
On other hand we can show aggression somehow, like you said, make it a symptom. Angry speech, gestures, flipping commander off. Maybe something else comes into your mind?
Yeah i was leaning more towards more subtle signs like verbal taunting or obvious dissatisfaction when you’re performing certain actions or possibly just the way they talk to you like instead of being scared or nervous they’re just constantly rude
Can you elaborate, how dissatisfaction works in your point of imagination? Can you write scenario example, please?
Basically just an NPC saying something like “hey don’t touch my stuff!“ or “don’t touch me pig!“
In other words, they dont get violent, but otherwise dont follow orders issued by you and the soldiers
Could be a secondary way to use the pistol OR a command system, to get them to knock it off - or be forced to take an extreme measure on a potentially clean (just hostile) survivor.
You dont need to be infected to be hostile. This needs to be accounted for, too
Yeah that’s what i was thinking
Command system or pistol mechanic?
Both really like commanding people to remove back packs or cooperate like ready or not’s system where you can command a perp to get down instead of shooting them
