#Being able to take infected items

Nah, they should be decontaminated with a tool, or disposed of if its an edible.
Becomes irrelevant if the survivor is Infected.
Losing sounds right as it's infectious as it show's when you hover over the symbol. If someone has this they are infected as they don't have Hazmat.
Maybe instead of "confiscating" it should be "securing" so they can be bagged up and sent off for potential decontamination or research to help get a better understanding of the virus, allowing for a reward that is similar but different to the confiscation bonus, because when you send them to liquidation we assume everything is destroyed while I think the person and their belongings should be disposed of separately, uninfected food can be cleaned and sent to the camp food tent, uninfected weapons can reinforce the soldiers arsenal, infected weapons can be sent for cleansing and potential use, or destroyed, infected food will be researched and destroyed
Limbs will be studied, researched, and destroyed
You're not supposed to touch infected items. It's self-preservation thing!
Don't touchy bad stuff!
But we're working on proper solution with biohazard materials
I do feel like if we do touch em there should be a penalty or risk, rn nothin happends if you do (I believe)
Depends how this variant of the virus works, as someone said it could, in theory, spread in quarantine if one of the ill survs is Infected. Virus lore needs a bit of breaking down, for this and the Infected items
Proper Solutions with Biohazard Mats - Behold, the Decontaminator! (pressure washer) /jk
one solution might be to have a pole with tongs (like the object used to pick up rubbish from the ground), and to transport the object to a place where it can be destroyed or decontaminated, and remember to disinfect the tongs each time
