Would appreciate your Feedback.
To make it playable on a 4 String Bass, there are like 6 Notes with Pitch.
Its not optimal but I think a decent way to make it playable for 4 String Bass.

personally I didn't like the pitch shift tone at all (like most semi-tone pitch shift tones in rocksmith, I don't think they work at all - even more so on bass unfortunately.)

usually, I just make them a whole octave higher and just leave it as that. So all them 3Es that have the pitch shift tone, I would make to be 5As instead and remove the pitch shift tone changes

#

You just gotta think about all the people that play charts without using the RS tones I think for things like this - if someone changes tone, it is going to sound extremely incorrect

#

check measure 64, the three notes on the D string should be on the A string instead

#

Like this others again, you can remove the No Guitar parts and FHPs in the intro and just let the COUNT go up until you actually start playing notes

#

you can make this be a full 5 string chart too if you want to accommodate the actual low Ds in this song AFoxy_Lurk it's very simple to do once you've changed the above stuff, I'll happily walk you through how to do that

oh, this open A I think might be better as a 5E instead given how the rest of the chart goes and you heavily using the 5E? Lurkk
(I would also mark that at fhp3 if you do change it)

I guess 5 String Bass is just on Guitar with Bass Tuning?

essentially NODDERS

  1. You'd want to go to part_real_bonus guitar track.
  2. go to Track > Clone > From Track > select the 4 string path you did. (that way it clones everything like fhps/ tone changes etc.)
  3. go to Track > Pro Guitar > Set number of strings and set it to 6.
  4. go to Track > Rocksmith > Arrangement Type > update it to Rhythm Bonus (5/6 string bass charts are community accepted as Bonus Rhythm paths).
  5. go to Track > Pro Guitar > Set Tuning > set it so it's BEADGC (-5,-5,-5,-5-4,-4). (click No to the prompt that should pop up)
  6. ctrl + A to select all the notes > press up arrow to shift everything up so the notes are on the EADG strings.
  7. go through and move the notes you transposed down to the low B string. (and also remove any tone changes if they are still there since you won't need them here)
  8. double check your FHPs and update any that need fixing (I don't think they will need to be, but always worth double checking)

Then in the DLC Builder, you ONLY want to adjust the tuning pitch from A440 to A220. (you don't apply the low tuning fix on full 5/6 string bass paths, just change it from A440 to A220)

Then reminder when you get round to uploading the chart, it's nice to just make a note of what is on each path. When I do both a 4 and 5 string path, I usually put something like:

  • Bass path has been transposed for 4 string players in E Standard playing some notes an octave higher.
  • Bonus Rhythm is a full 5 string bass path in B Standard playing the low D notes.
#

oh whoops, slightly wrong order

#

there we go Wowee had the tuning in the wrong place, you want to update the arrangement type first > then adjust the tuning

You forgot to swap the A440 to A220
