#Cellar Darling - Black Moon [Finished]

Will make time to have a look soonest. I really enjoyed the other Cellar Darling chart...thanks!
and more to come, it's a full album work in progress
First look on Bass - IMO, the tone volume need a boost. Played through on two different basses and had difficulty hearing what I was playing on both.
Bass - this tiny first Phrase should likely be merged.
Here the 8A notes are fretted with finger 1, but finger 2 makes more sense IMO. Similar parts later on in the song use finger 2 for the 8A. 👍 Will have a spin on the guitars when able. Good song!
This includes playing intentional incorrect notes on purpose (though I'm likely to get the notes wrong anyway 🤣 ).
it's not that complex, I'm sure you played more correct note than the wrong one
For sure. At some point a couple years ago, pengo mentioned he liked to play wrong notes on purpose to help test chart tone volume levels.
only thing I've noticed thus far is that this part felt lacking a tone change, would like something with a bit of a boost and that makes it stand out more
ok I see shortly after there is a lead tone change for a different part
I found that one quiet too IMO
could barely hear what I was playing
sustains touching the next note? or nearly touching at least? should have a bit more of a gap there
personally I wouldn't mind if the main distortion was a bit louder too
Only other thing I'd mention that I'd mention to other people so no point in not letting you know too:
Your filename and version number for your pre-release version is version 1. We've been pushing people to name such pre-release versions as V0.1, V0.2 etc. or something so that it is clearer and easier to manage when sending to other to test. Then the first public release can be Version 1. Especially since when downloading a filename with duplicate name means it adds a (1) next to the file automatically instead of replacing it. Makes it a lot easier on everyone if you can get in the habit of changing version number, DLC key and arrangement IDs for each new build and making sure the first public release is V1 🫡
My main issue with that is that I'm publishing it here when I already have gone through 6 or 7 test versions of my own and that I do consider this as close as I can make to a V1 on my own. On top of that, I rarely need to go through much edits after which I find hardly justify to call that a 0.9 or something
so if you consider it V1 why even ask for feedback in here lol
like sorry I just don't understand that justification
anyway I'll continue telling other people the same thing
you don't have to call it v0.9
you can call it 0.1 sicne its pre release
because others pair of eyes/ears are always good to have and the fact it's a V1 doesn't change that at all
main issue would be not the same version number as whatever ends up on CF
but I've already gone through those version myself
word
this is exactly what I would have released on CF before this channel was made, I share it here and give it some time to avoid rushing myself and to allow other opinions to catch small things I may have missed or ignored for whatever reason, the version number don't change anything for that
so will you release on CF as V1.1?
I don't know yet, it'll depend on the amount of edit and if it justify it
I think regardless of significance of change it should always be a new version number
and again it's just plain confusing
idk man I made myself pretty clear
you don't have to do anything I'm not staff
just telling you what I tell others to facilitate things smoother for testing
