#Two Occasions - The Deele

Pasting basic info that most people will echo with regards to feedback:
- notes that are around for less than a beat shouldn't have tails
- hammer-ons are wrong; that's 5h7 so the 7 should be hammered-on
- your fret hand positions are for sure auto generated, I'd recommend reviewing them for proper playing locations
Your hammerons wont hit right the way they're charted, you need to correct that and your note lengths for starters
I did a few spot changes ...IT Worked!!!! Fixing more now
Hey sorry that I've been big busy, how's it going so far?
I fixed the rest . I think its done.thx
Sounds good, when you're done with this thread be sure to put [FINISHED] in your thread title!
I'll give it another pass after work if I can, but glad to help
Given the scale of the issues that are reported, I don't want the charter self-reporting when it's done
It needs to be more of a community effort to get things situated
Would if I could review another pass ofc
I do have time in a couple hours if there is a revised version to check on @rain fog
it doesnt necessarily need to be you
i just dont want it to be uploaded without a final approval given the issues youve raised
updated
A good rule of thumb moving forward is all updates need an updated version number, for something like the changes you made it'd be v1.1
As mentioned before, this section is way too long and you need to break it up
This still looks like automatic Fret Hand Positions (FHP)
This riff should 100% be FHP3
And at this note I'd want to shift down to FHP 2
It also doesn't look like you fixed any of the note tail lengths I mentioned so far
Back to FHP3, no tails
And I won't be going over every tail issue because that's something I've mentioned already; if they're that short, they shouldn't be there at all
The above notes also seem off, I think the 3 is shorter and staccato, there's more space between that E3 and the following E5 based on my ears
D2 and D3 are staccato, should be D0h5 and for that D0 I'd honestly move your fhp back from 2 to 3 again here to make the following notes make sense
I would advise using your ears to pull out which notes are staccato (played sharp and quickly) and mark them as accents, even though I know that's contentious
This section should be going from FHP3 to FHP2 at the D0, then back to FHP3 for the E5 E3 E5 part as mentioned before
Stuff like this should be fhp2
Fhp5 starting at A5, you have time to make that shift as a player
Also that sustained A5 sounds just a lil off, might need a second opinion on that timing there
Fhp6
Again, fhp5 at D5, you have time to make that shift
YMMV and others may disagree but I prefer fhp3 for this E3, then at D2 fhp2 to be consistent with how it gets played earlier in the song
This is not slid, it's definitely struck E3 E2 E0
This is wrong, that 6h8 is on D not A
There's definitely notes missing here, sounds almost like an octave of sorts
Sounds like a slide from E3, not E4
And fhp should change accordingly (hint, it literally puts you into position for the next riff!)
All in all, it's a rough outing, I would highly recommend consulting the #creators pins for tutorials and reviewing the Standards so you understand what's expected of you when it comes to charts
I definitely would not have uploaded it in this state
There's also a groove to the song that your hammer-ons and other 8th/16th notes aren't capturing properly. I hate to bring him into the thread but @brave crypt might understand what I mean if he can get eyes on it
Also please listen to all feedback; I know you were here for your hammer-on detection but there's so many more things to correct throughout your chart
@rain fog
Also please test your chart because you likely would've caught some of these things
Also for future references, a lot of what I've mentioned is report-able, so if you don't clean it up or if you upload another chart of similar quality, you risk getting it reported
okay . I think this will be last chart. I appreciate your help
For sure, and no one is stopping you from charting again in the future, but if you do be sure to review the charting standards, and reach out in #creators and post in #1365035164891217930 if you have questions before you upload to the forge. There's always room for improvement if you want to improve 🙂
Any update @rain fog?
Still Looking at how to do accents. Thank you
