use hiding to your advantage. the game is lowkey built around it

always keep some reserve stamina when turning corners/opening doors. I've been saved countless times by having ~20 stamina so i can quickly get away before an enemy spots me or run away if they even do see me

the faster you are, the less opportunity enemies have to kill you. so going fast > getting every single valuable you can (at least for later levels)

also tumble launch and tumble wings are peak upgrades

In later levels you can just pull enemies aside to get them out your way but early on it is about minimising exposure to threats and running and hiding is how you do that

Boss fights every 10 levels. You have to fight a big, stronger version of one of the monsters, and if you beat them, the next time that monster is meant to appear in that level, it won't spawn

in there, there's a file named "metasave.es3" deleting it will clear your cosmetic data

the cosmetics are awesome because there are 500 of them and they are all technically free but you have to earn them through gameplay and you can also color every individual part of your character down to the eyelids and grabber by default

for a change, Ive just had a good and interesting run, no bad shop RNG and monster RNG for once. By shop level 3, i had a sword, a pocket cart and a recharge drone and had the loom, rugrat and duck as the monsters. got out with 85k by end of level 3. Spent it on so much just to die the next level from some awful luck.

does anyone know if they messed around with settings at all and didnt state that in the update? the game felt really sensitive to movement when i hopped on again. Things just felt different. Walking around i was freezing and stuttering which never happens normally, sensitivity felt really high and it just felt different to play.

having a dedicated lava based map would basically just be swiftbroom but with lava
