Devlogs are just to inform us about their progress of development and/or changes and such.

they'll drop a release date if they've set on a date. The fact that it hasn't yet, means they're not done yet with the whole update.

they'll also definitely drop a trailer video before the update releases.

so far only devlogs and community videos has been released, so update isn't present yet.

only thing we can do is speculate the date based on past release date patterns, but they're also not bound by this pattern and it could take longer than that.

Only "official" way is to wait for them to drop the release date.

Then the R.E.P.O Theme kicks in (The one when you enter to the game) as they run to the truck in slow motion. Enemies chasing them, Blue semibot jumping to the truck being a dead head and at the last second, before they both die blue hits loom (Loom was about to catch red and green) and saves them. As they advance with the truck, Blue with the last 3 seconds he had of dead battery said: "First we retrieve and extract...." Then Red and green about to cry says "....Then we Profit and Operate..." as Red closes the door who was making sparks by scraping the road. Then we see the truck go as the cam focuses on the road, fallen focusing on the truck going back to tax man.

getting an early sledgehammer/tranq gun is a good way to lock in an easy first couple of rounds

and learning game tech helps a lot, such as tumble tech

definitely so, there are a good amount of people out there who have probably reached 100+ stages solo

now, as a beginner, save scumming could help you keep ur runs into the late game so u can practice more with increasing difficulty
by save scumming i mean leaving the game when ur in a bad scenario like getting down to low hp or about to die but not actually dead yet, so the save resets back to the start of the level

getting good upgrades like strength (4/5 is a good breakpoint for early on) and health upgrades and also at least 1 of both tumble launch and tumble wings will help a lot, and ofc great items like gun or shotgun or sledge or tranq too

for me its when u master all the basics and know how counter the enemies

I honestly got to level 9 quite early and I was definetely still a noob though it was duo

When you notice you suddenly can get past a certain level you used to struggle with.

e.g. I struggled at Lv7 at some point but after reaching higher and dying only for me to start a new safe and reaching that same Lv7, all the prior levels went so fast and smooth until a point even Lv7 wasn't a struggle anymore.
Same happened with Lv11, 15, 20 for me...

Well... it depends per person though. As well as luck. But as others said, if you got the basics down and know how to counter monsters, map layout/which valuables you should take or not etc. are all factors which all has their own "timing of knowing how to handle them accordingly".

i had a level 26 solo run ended by bella strolling into an extraction room with me (there werent any items that make noise), proceeded to do her full charge without the 1/2 ring warning, and then ignored me grabbing her for a stun (16 strength) and knocked me into a pit

This is why I think bella is possibly the most dangerous tier 1 enemy

Peeper is also dangerous when combo'd with others and tick can also be a problem (tho at least it can only do 100 without knocking or stunning you), but bella can sometimes just self trigger on random stuff on the map including other enemies

And then once she does trigger, unless you have 9 strength and are fast enough to grab her before her 3rd ring finishes, she's basically unkillable as she flies to you and hits you with a buncha dmg and might pit you
