I prefer the Academy over the Museum because of the valuables and overall the vibe, also the cauldrons are quite fun and their intentional placement to get to higher places is genius, opening the cabinets and boxes is fun

the Museum also has fun valuables but also many boring ones and even annoying at times, it's all mostly white walls and floors so a bit boring, the map itself can't be really interacted with except for vents probably, I still really like it

individual levels are made significantly harder by the fact that literally everyone in the entire game cannot bare the possibility of leaving behind 10k

just don't get too far invested in your first runs where you die. Just keep gaining experience and keep playing. And when you finally get past a difficulty where you kept dying and come there again. Stop and start a new save and try getting to that point again but faster and more efficient and gain more experience that way. Afterwards, go back to your original save and go further and build your way up xD

I also sometimes just go to those lower save files if I plan to play REPO but don't have near as much time so I can make runs quicker on the lower ones. But at Lv20 they all are practically the same.. So I suppose I soon need to do another lower save and build it up or so? 😂

you just need to stand in front of cart and cube needs to be on the other side of the cart, so that you rotate the cube towards you

maybe time to practice countering tick by grabbing the tick itself on purpose and slam it against the wall and get into its green aura

since if done properly, you'll come out at ±0 HP gain/lost

since the green aura recovers you the amount it took from you

much better than tumbling on the tick which costs you 5HP I thought?

not going to lie, at Monster Update release I died so much to the tick as well

welp... at least you got experience now, no matter how you look at it, so starting a new save will definitely be progressing easier than before

its entire schtick is to grab your tractor beam and drain you dry through it, sort of like when you heal teammates

it is completely harmless and docile otherwise unless you’re dragging or holding something

Fair said... you can better try to move around the room and try to lead the head towards the main body. Grabbing it will be much more dangerous as the head will always go in a straight line towards the player.

Using that mechanism you can better try to move around and if no weapons, try to let the head explode near the main body.

E.g. if he threw the head and you go to the room next door and go straight against another wall, the head won't go through the door but try to go against the wall from the other side. But since there's a wall he cannot pass, and will explode there, since the head is too dumb to find the door and then go towards you.

tranq gun, grab it with high strength (if it's not in an inconvenient spot), other ranged weaponry, exc. or just don't get spotted

alternatively, there's a bit of a cheese tactic you can do where you hold out an item in the room with the Oogly from behind a wall. Since grabbed objects are an extension of yourself, the oogly will see you and try to grab you, but it can't as you're behind a wall.
