Kinda correct. It gets messy a bit with tags and is why proper authors make good ReadMe's.

Most levels for example only have the 'server' tag. I deem cosmetics mods as client only because client only needs them, not host.
Levels, Valuables and Enemies should always be put as Server, but you can add client also if you want to but isn't mandatory. Server also means server wide as in "all".

But even some well known authors only tag as `mods' and monsters or levels etc.
Tags are bad to go by, the Readme is most important.

Any mod affecting only client I make it labeled as client as example. Not server.

You can use an app called crossover but there are issues. It studders every 5 seconds or so on my M4 MacBook Pro and the mouse feels off because of Apple’s ‘flick’ feature. It works good in a desktop environment but feels inconsistent in a game.

You have to have the exact same enemies, Levels and valuables. Only cosmetic items can be client only (Usually). If you get stuck, someone has something that someone doesn't. - Unless you do have a compatibility issue between mods. Usually if you LOTS of them though.

The way the game works it can't happen (most games like this are Client to Client aka P2P) - Steam hands off to Photon but still client to client connection.

The only way to have actual moderation would be to host dedicated servers or run a custom Photon server where the host authority is centralized and can intercept or log events.

Yes, strength is still absolutely the best upgrade to get, in levels 1-4 you can use valuables to hit both upscreams and rugrats as they will be stunned by them, light weapons like a frying pan also work against them, or you can focus on getting 4 strength to lift both up

But diff flavors of Linux so you have to see what Proton version is best for you. Steam has majority of them anyways in the list for boot.

Best for #general_chat though and maybe even a Proton/Linux based server as most do not use Linux yet. But Google does have tons of info on what version of Proton to use.

You can’t traceroute REPO’s multiplayer servers like that here.

Steam just hands the session off to Photon Cloud, which handles the connection dynamically. There’s no fixed IP or domain per region. Photon assigns relay nodes automatically depending on ping and load, so even “EU” servers rotate across some data centers.

REPO uses Photon PUN, so all traffic goes through Photon relay nodes, not direct P2P. Sometimes the matchmaking picks a relay in a sub-region.

you can be efficient with it by waiting a half hour to let gravity do the damage after each stun but thats just more effort than im willing to give lol

Like can they kill any tier 3s at once

Normal grenades cannot kill a monster in its own, but the explosive mine can, cuz the mine does more damage than the grenade, but both usually need assistance from other sources to fully kill it

mines ares great as they can usually kill the 250 hp t3s, even if the mine doesnt kill it usually leaves the t3 really low so like one tumble launch likely kills
