The variety of chemicals available to a borer seems really thin, and there are several damage types that are entirely untreatable despite how common they are. Though the current array of chems definitely covers a majority of your bases, it still feels quite lacking. In turn, I propose that whenever you inject a certain amount of any chem while bored, the borer can learn that chem. Granted, I don't expect this to ever get added, since it would mean assigning chem costs to all of the chemicals in the game, but it is a nice idea to have out there.

what if they could just mix chems inside your body to make medical chems and then heal you with these medical chems
That would require them to just get more chems. Granted, I've had a huge idea for a complete revamp of borers that would allow this, but what I'm thinking of is so big noone but myself would be willing to try to make it, and I don't know how to do SS14 coding yet (i'm getting around to learning I swear)
I took a peak at the code for borer's today, iots actually piss simple to add new chems
u just gotta know how to do math
The biggest part would probably just be figuring out balanced prices for each chem
So I've heard word of a Borer rework, could this potentially be included in that?
