This was part of my friend’s first run of fl so forgo dreams was a surprise to him, and I wanted to knock out the dlc too in the same sitting since for once I wanted to complete a kirby game with him where even I didn’t know what’ll happen

Yeah, I assume half the reason that one is hidden is to give you a feeling of "ok that's what im supposed to do, let's give it another try!" But there's definitely better ways to get that feeling (and ensure people get it more universally). Not that it's bad of course. I think with how SCW presents itself via promotions and whatnot, it does naturally bring in some exaggerative expectations regarding the scope of the game

Something like Bowser's Fury or Shadow Generations would come in mind if you see the cover of the game

But of course, SCW's just a fairly sized secondary story mode. It may have half the quantity of the base-story's levels, but that's still quite a bunch of content compared to something like Forgo Dreams!

I can understand a bit of disappointment, especially since we're only focused on the additional content (and not stuff like general base-game performance or graphics)...
...But come on man, that should not be the takeaway of a DLC...

IMO, I think they just need to do a bit more with the added content next time (or even through an update or two for SCW?).

Don't get me wrong, a mouthful of new levels with interesting design and mechanics is neat, but since a GREAT majority of players are ones who have at least beaten/completed the game by now, it does feel like there's this added difficulty of appreciating SCW for what it is sometimes.

Ok, beginning to replay FL S2E on a new file, and...

...Yeah SCW absolutely holds more value in a fresh save context

Ok beaten all of World 1, and... Yeah no a new file is the optimal way to experience SCW

When I first started playing SCW on a completed save, sure it was nice getting to the next starry level, but as I went on... it felt like I was only making level progress, with little to no other kinds of progresses you'd find in the base game...

But here, everything's kinda... natural

It's like this DLC was some sort of spiritual successor to the EX levels of TDX/Robobot or something, down to these special levels having "exclusive" variants of mid-bosses

If the player hovers with any Fire ability for 5 seconds, releases an Air Bullet, holds the attack button, and presses or mashes the jump button when Kirby lands, he will shoot high up and can go out-of-bounds if done correctly. This glitch is very similar to the Hammer Super Jump.

If elfilis dies on top of the invisible wall they fail to get placed in the center

Rising drop stars is just when drop stars spawn on an invisible wall they start rising up

Happens in chaos elfilis fight and also leongar (I think I forgot about it for a bit when SCW was new and thought the glitch only started happening for leongar in SCW but I think it was there for base FL too)

and it’s like, all recordings in every language exists in every language (I assume) because they say “authenticating” (English) and “autenticado” (Spanish) and then there’s also just parts from both “Welcome to the New World!” And “TWINKLING STAR SHOWERS” which aren’t real languages so idk

and I don’t think it’s the “automatic language detection” because it should only translate AFTER it’s fully authenticated.

You hold guard and spam attack as fast as you can while still slow enough for guard to reactivate between each tap
