However I do suspect UCZEX to not just be a simple "We added SCW's roster onto UCZ"...

I think one or two bosses could be omitted... Maybe Phantom Metaknight and Winterhorns Phantom Dedede?

Fecto Forgo is like the one instance in modern Kirby where a regular boss just isn't included in the final boss rush

We have gimmick bosses like Gigavolt and Grand Mam that are also excluded in general

We could bring up Ultra's True Arena, but since RTDL they've mostly kept the base-boss characters for the True Arena...

But otherwise modern Kirby has always featured every boss in the game in the final boss rush, with the most notable instance being SMEX including exclusive variants of the mage sisters even though they weren't anywhere else in the update and also adding Goldon and Silvox back in even though they didn't even get a new variant

Hopefully the ZEX phantom bosses could be like TA magolor soul, where their appearance isn’t changed but their attacks and patterns are changed up a bit

I basically already sent a comprehensive message on my thoughts yesterday but like
The three possibilities in decreasing likelihood is

1. SCW has new variations of existing bosses and you'll fight both Phantoms and the new variations in ZEX
2. SCW only has completely original bosses
3. SCW has no bosses outside of its finale

The main weird thing about option 1 would just be why they haven't shown off any of them at all if that's the case

Especially since part of the adventure will take place at least after the main game

And so assuming that option 1 is the case, the question is 'will the new SCW variations of bosses replace Phantom bosses' we already know that Phantom Gorimondo is in ZEX, so the possibilities are

1. Only some of the bosses have new variations, Gorimondo is not one of them so we fight Phantoms when there's no new variation and we fight the new variation when there is one
2. We fight all Phantoms in addition to all the new variations, like how you fight both ME variants and EX variants in RtDL DX true arena

personally my bet is slight mix between 1 and 2 (mostly original bosses but maybe a variation as well; do think ZEX will have one or two more unique variations as well either way)

The reason they would choose to do option 2 again is that Phantom bosses are postgame bosses. Meanwhile SCW is something that happens parallel to the game so its bosses would not be postgame and should therefore be easier than Phantom bosses. So if they were making an ultimate boss rush like with ZEX, they wouldn't want to get rid of harder bosses for easier ones, but obviously they'd want to use the new content too, so they'd just include both

I think the "Story Mode" is very much everything that happens in the Forgotten Land

• Bandee being playable outside of co-op

Fears:

• The upgrade system continuing to be irreversible, thus requiring me to utilize my secondary non-upgrade file
• SCW being more like what Wave 3 was to Star Allies (new levels, sure, but the new bosses are just more variants), despite being paid DLC
• SCW ultimately being just this additional mode rather than an integrated second game that works parallel with the base-game
