I wish there was a way for songs that were designed to seamlessly blend into each other to be played without having to stop one song and start another. Some examples include the "Above Water" and "Underwater" versions of Super Mario Galaxy songs such as Beach Bowl Galaxy or Buoy Base Galaxy. An implementation I would like to see for this service is from Fire Emblem: Three Houses, where songs that can blend into each other (the "Rain" and "Thunder" versions of battle songs) have a dedicated button on the menu that allows one to fade out and the other to fade in, keeping the same relative place in the music for each song. This would enhance my experience with the service by allowing me to listen to these songs as they were intended to be played: switching between each track seamlessly. I consider that an important part of what makes video game music so special, and would love to see Nintendo preserve that through their app, which due to Nintendo controlling all aspects of the service would provide them the unique opportunity to implement this feature in a way no other format (Physical soundtrack release, alternative music streaming platform like Spotify) allows.
