For starters, Magolor Soul instead of Magolor Phase 2 is one thing, and there's an additional scene where Magolor transforms into his EX coloration in RtDL's EX Mode

Which is not normally what happens in the main story

In the case of an extra mode like adventure or RtDL, where you just play the same game again, I personally feel like it's just "overlapping canon". Whatever really happened is just some combo of the two. They're not that different

The only "classic" extra mode that I occasionally toy with the idea of both happening separately (instead of an overlap) is with DL1, purely because the two end cutscenes work well as a story. Dedede throws a fit and tries again, and then Kirby checks on him after he fails again. But I don't know anyone who doesn't generally assume it's just a second telling of the same event

biggest hurdle about this design is that ||unlike what weve seen before, this is a design thats basically 99% original/unique and therefore may be hard for people who are already used to the simpler or more organized designs to truly comprehend, especially artists. closest thing is star dream and even then, that is much simpler than tree crown. picking it apart however IS pretty fun and im planning to make a whole reference soon to make it clear||

IDK why they did the same for the roots tho, whatever importance it serves to the overall design (since they can literally just make it curvy roots and leave it at that) i cant understand immediately||
