I’m trying to sort out why I’m so confused and this is my understanding so far:
Usually when new lore is added it’s added in the form of a new concept to consider
-the concept of void and how it collects positive and negative energy
-The concept of the mirror and the mirror world
-the concept of the world clash takes place in and how it is a different dimension to the one Kirby is normally in, presumably having different versions of the characters too (it’s a parallel universe I guess)
But the two magolors being the same instead introduces a connection as opposed to a concept. So now these two concepts have to share the same space while they were previously (to my knowledge) separate.
