He is the most promising young trainer on the first island. Perhaps because of this and the dashing good looks he inherited from his mother, he is the "prince" of the Trainer School. The image of the kingdom is a strategy employed to make people long for the ideology and world of Team Destruction.
For example, they have built N a castle, and dress in aristocratic clothes.
Though the charisma of N as king and hero, he will be gifted the Package Pokemon, and regin over the Pokemon league.
N is trying to grow his charisma and gain support of the crowd.

Due to living in a household absent a mother, she is strongly conscious of the need to support her father and brother. Ace Pokemon is the regional form of Raichu.
A scholar who studies space from his observatory. He isn't really a Captain, but took up the position as provisional due to the lack of a candidate. A meticulous man who has everything in his observatory at 90 degrees, he is friendly and brimming with curiosity, but with an "off" quality indicative of him being a scholar. He speaks in a logical manner, but mixes in his own sense of humor to poor results. He became an astronomer after being fascinated as a child by the planetary sequence listed in an occult book. He loves the concept of planetary alignments, and is at once childlike in his belief that they might have mysterious powers, and contradictory in his knowledge that they have no real significance. In that sense, he can be called a romantic.

He is a close friend of the story's Pokemon Professor, being amused with how his friend's athletic life became an academic pursuit. At the same time, he is a friend of Burnet and carries feelings for her, leaving him with both joy and jealousy when he learnt of their marriage. His dream for the future is to travel space and learn more and more about it. To that end, he is working with Burnet to study and eventually make contact with Ultra Space.
His hobby is stargazing. He is someone who struggle with managing money.
In the postgame, he is troubled by the nomination to Gym Leader, but ultimately accepts. He also nominates the female executive to the position.

An energetic, cheerful, yet somewhat mysterious young girl who is descended from royalty that once reigned over all of Alola. Three years ago, she was caught in a car accident that killed her family and Pokemon, and left her on the verge of death. She was rescued by the Giver of Island 3, alone with the Ghost Pokemon born of the accident and her family's' ancestral spirits. After transporting her to the hospital, the Giver scrambled for an effort to find a foster-caretaker for her, but to no avail. Eventually, she was placed in a Pokemon shelter run by the Aether Foundation.

In spite of her background, she is a cheerful and lively girl. She is an overall kind-hearted girl, though a little bullheaded for her age. Being the oldest at the facility, she acts as an older sister both to the children and Pokemon living there as well as the visiting kindergarteners, carrying herself like a meddlesome nursery school teacher. Because of her near-death experience, she has the special ability to renew herself with Ghost Pokemon. Because of this, Ghost Pokemon flock to her in the evening, and she plays with them as her friends. This led to her being chosen as a Captain. Her dream for the future is to join the Aether Foundation and work to aid people and Pokemon alike who lack families. Therefore, she is enthralled by caring for Pokemon. Her hobby, or rather daily routine, is to head to the cemetery and tell her resting parents about the day's events.

She is exceptionally slow-paced in her actions and speaking style, but also a perfectionist who commits to whatever she set her mind too, and is unwilling to compromise. She travels hills and fields searching for motifs, and once she picks up her paintbrush, she becomes so immersed that she forgets to eat or sleep. Her art is praised for fascinating even Pokemon, who are said to gather around wherever it is hung. Her work varies from realistic paintings that seem as though they were captured with a camera to abstract art, but they always about Fairy-Types, which are also the only Pokemon she has on hand.

While she doesn't care about winning or losing, she participates in battles because she feels beautiful fights stimulate her senses. However, she only uses beautiful techniques that she wants to see, though in spite of this she is still near-undefeated. She is a vagabond, prone to leaving home with art supplies in hand and often not returning for a week or two. Her family aren't born sea-farers, choose to join so to nurture her growing artistic talent, having decided that a life able to see countless views was best for her genius. They later opened a restaurant in the fleet. Her dream is to continue painting until the day she dies.

TL notes for Deltile: They say シント is Shingto (for some reason) which sounds too much like 神道 Shinto (The religion), so to match the 新 new from 新潟 Nigata and 富 rich from 富山 Toyama, they decided to create a word from combining the words new and rich, but also 潟 lagoon and 山 mountain, and came up with Delta = 潟 + Fertile 富 = Deltile
TL notes for Toshin: Shinto sounds too similar to 神道 Shinto, so they swapped it around to be Toshin
GF notes: Rather than focusing on Shinto, focus on a name that conveys it being halfway between the Johto and Sinnoh regions both geographically and culturally

He uses comical gestures and an elusive tone, but this light-hearted demeanor is just a bluff. His true character is ice-cold, with him having lost interest in other people or opening his heart. He has no interest in good or evil and, while not the type to willing do wrong, he is nonetheless ruthless and uncaring to other's misfortune as long as he sees reason in it. However, he has feelings towards the weak and Pokemon, and shows consideration to the elderly, children, and Pokemon.

The police station where he works and lives is filled with Pokemon, abandoned by people when the town was attacked. His Persian is his partner and emotional anchor, whom he has survived many turmoils with. Although willing to resort to inhumane means, he nonetheless still challenges people to fair Pokemon battles. His many dark experiences have made him a strong fighter. He was the one who made Acerola a Captain, both because of their personal relationship and recognition of her talent, but refuses to show her his current situation and delegates all work with the Captains to Moylane. His hobby is to play with the Meowth he finds. His mark is his thumb.

He excelled and rose the ranks, eventually being recruited into Interpol. While a member however, he was involved in an incident which cost him his career, with him being removed from his position and set to work an officer in Alola on Island 3.

The station where he was assigned was a resort town for the elite, a place filled with those who could never be called good, and no weak people to protect. He set his mind on just doing daily patrols of the island. The patrols were difficult work, with Alola's vast, changing environment and the violence of Island 3, but no matter the season or weather he continued, eventually being recognized by the islanders and becoming Bestower.

It was then when he was involved in an incident. While on patrol, he was met with a car accident, and rescued the surviving young girl despite being injured himself. Despite making an effort to find a foster home for the girl in the village however, none were willing to accept the girl or recognize her heritage. This begun his despair towards the townspeople. Using what little money he had, he placed the girl in a shelter which had just been built.

Several years later, he was met by a group of people led by a man from the Aether Foundation, and was surrounded by Team Skull. The man blackmailed him into allowing the attack on the village, using the girl from the shelter as leverage, which he agreed to on the condition that no harm was to come to the townspeople. Soon after, Team Skull attacked the town and took it over, while all the people fled.||
