||I agree in general with this sentiment, but the overall themeing still felt a bit flat to me and a lot went unexplored. bowser and jr are the most explored, and despite feeling a bit eh about the almost arc bowser went through (which I guess looking back may be interpreted as that bowser after being captured was trying to be converted into someone he wasn't but then jr made he remember who he is) the moments with them were cool. I wish we got to see more of rosa and the lumas but what we got was cute. though I found the shipping of mario and peach to be pretty forced, in a way I wish it wasn't like that. also I just realized in a scene luigi goes say something like "ask her if she has a girl for me" or whatever and this may hint a daisy now I guess lol||

So everybody gets free. It's even still possible to keep in him feeling apprehensive about hurting the Mario crew after that so not much else even needs to change. It just genuinely felt weird that he was willing to work in the mines forever and at the very least not try to escape on his own somehow ||

Alright I actually got a chance to watch the movie earlier
It's definitely a step up from the previous one; the animation is definitely the main praise I can give

Looks like the preorders are up for the DVD/Blu-ray/4K (Steelbook), but they seem to have a placeholder date of December 31st, 2026

There were a lot of things I could just outright predict though ||such as Dry Bowser, the Pikmin just being a cameo, and the Daisy stinger at the end||

I'll give credit ||that they wanted to revive the Galaxy concept of where Rosalina was intended to be Peach's sibling, which they weren't able to implement in the game||
||If I hadn't knew about the concept art and work done I'd probably take it very badly out of context||

But hey this confirms ||Peach has magic powers, she just refuses to use them against Bowser||

||It's very fun to watch! But when I told my friend "I liked Bowser Jr." he was like "Yeah I liked the potential of the character" and honestly that's probably my main sticking point with this movie lol. It felt like there was a lot of potential for a more interesting conflict with Bowser Jr as a villain. I mean he's set up to have insane daddy issues - hell-bent on finding his father who hasn't been looking for him and has been separated from him for years, creating their own dream planet in his honor. I feel like they could have had some conflict between father and son esp with Bowser hinting that he didn't really wanna attack the bros. that much. Like give Bowser Jr some sort of character arc through this y'know? Let him feel like his father hasn't been nearly appreciative enough of his son's efforts. But then nothing really happened lol. Same could be said for Rosalina - there's a lot of stuff they could have done with her but then they just didn't. But hey it was still a fun watch all in all||
