||As a person who is "sceptical" with any movie done by illumination, I had to keep my expectation on the low. I would say I did enjoy the movie due to fact I am a Mario fan. I did like the range of easter eggs in this movie from the soundtrack to the visuals. Even tho I enjoy it , I wouldn't say it's a "strong" enjoy because there is something to desire like how I wish there was more screentime with Luigi.||

It could’ve done so much more with the concept

It has everything, Great Designs ||( Except Specifically King Boo tbh )|| Good settings, Average World Building, it just didn’t do anything that great with it but could have

|| More scenes of the characters actually connecting, Toad doing something instead of just being a plot device, Bowser conquering more kingdoms, Making scenes longer to give more breathing room. All that. And this movie, about the Super Mario Bros franchise could’ve been simply better than it turned out. ||

Just saw the movie. As a big Mario fan ever since my childhood, I appreciate the movie for its many, many references. But the movie in itself is a missed potential. I wish it was longer, so the relationship between the characters could have been explored more. I would have loved to see more of Mario and DK, more of Luigi, and especially more of Bowser. I feel like the movie's missing some scenes that should have been there.
