I think people are too into the mindset of "if the movie is bad it's illumination and if it's good it's nintendo" - it's a collaborate project - yes Nintendo is helping with direction and ideas, but I feel like people discredit illumination too much because they cannot possibly make a good movie by themselves or something. like there's a lot of ppl hard at work on the movie and I'm sure they have a big hand in helping realize Nintendo's ideas into an appropriate movie format since they have experience in the medium. plus they're the reason the movie looks so gorgeous so far. I just don't like when people say "Nintendo redeemed the movie that would have sucked because of illumination" like chill lol

At my #Avatar screening, the guy next to me sat and laughed through all the previews. When the Mario trailer came on, he rubbed his hands together saying “yesss” and cried within the first four seconds.

He then left before the movie started and never came back.
